Root Canal Therapy

Root canal treatment saves teeth!  Today's treatment uses a number of high tech elements to accomplish this.

We use digital x-rays which use 80% less radiation than film, specially designed nickel titanium instruments in an electric motor that preserves the natural curves of the roots and special instruments that help us fill the canals in 3 dimensions.

Root canal treatment is done if decay enters the "nerve" of the tooth causing inflammation and pain, if a tooth becomes infected, or traumatized or if the nerve tissue "dies".  Some of these conditions can be painful.  The treatment is not.
